Hasty Bake Cheesy Potatoes

Instructions

1. Cheese Sauce: in medium size sauce pan add butter and melt over medium high heat. Whisk in flour and continue to whisk until golden brown. Slowly whisk in milk and continuously whisk until all clumps are gone. Lower heat to medium and bring to simmer. Simmer for about 2 minutes, whisking occasionally. Lower heat to low and add ¾ cheese and mix until all cheese is melted. Tip: if cheese sauce is too thick, stir in a small amount of milk to thin sauce.
2. Grease (Pam or softened butter) a 9” X 9” baking pan. Put hash brown potatoes in mixing bowl and season with S4S seasoning. Add seasoned potatoes to pan. Add cheese sauce and thoroughly mix with potatoes. Spread potatoes evenly and sprinkle remaining shredded cheese on top. Cover pan with foil.
3. Cook covered on Hasty Bake at 350° for 45-60 minutes. Tip: use heat shield to avoid scorching bottom. Remove foil and continue to cook at 350° until top is golden brown, approx. 20-30 minutes. Let rest for 5-10 minutes and serve.
