It’s almost the New Year and we all know the old tradition about black-eyed peas! Let’s start the year lucky with this recipe inspired by Holy Smokes BBQ.
We recommend using a pork shoulder (or pork butt) pre-sliced bacon, but if you can’t find that then any thick-sliced bacon will work. Black-eyed peas are not typically a family favorite, but this recipe will have you wanting them more than just the obligatory once-a-year!
